This is our weekly free betting guide to the European and PGA Tours. This guide will include a review of the course that the tournament is to be held on, as well as providing background information on how we feel certain players will do on that particular week.

Over the last eight years we have managed a great record of having a player placed in the Top 5 on both sides of the Atlantic most weeks. We supply three tips to win, two each-way tips that we think can make the Top 5 money places and an outside tip that we feel - if the player performs to his potential could make the Top 5 and a longer odds tip of a player that we feel could be coming back into form.

We supply links for you to open up a betting account with some of the major bookmakers, no matter what country you live in. These companies offer a range of free bets from £50-200 (in your currency) when you open up an account. The odds on golf betting are very good so we would recommend you always bet each-way.

We would like to emphasise that betting should be for fun and not a way to make a living. We see it as a way of adding excitement to a tournament while you watch and hopefully this guide will help you make an informed choice.

As always good luck and have fun!

Review & Betting Guide for the PGA Championship

With the introduction last year of the new worldwide tour schedule we should be sitting here this week already knowing who had won each of the four Major championships, but 2020 has not been any ordinary year and here we are in August about to play the first of only three Major championships this season, with The Open Championship already being cancelled.

I am sure there have been many changes since I played TPC Harding Park but I wouldn’t say it’s the prettiest course, but there are some beautiful holes on this course and it certainly has a wonderful finishing hole.

The European Tours UK Swing continues this week and moves to Hertfordshire and the Hanbury Manor Golf and Country Club which officially open for play in 1991, but there is a rich history to this venue.

The manor house itself was built in 1890 for the Hanbury brewing family and converted to a girls boarding school in 1923, the transformation from boarding school to a luxury hotel came about in 1986, but golf featured before its rebirth as a hotel. Six-time Open Champion Harry Vardon – who also won the US Open in 1900 – was commissioned to produce a 9-hole golf course on the estate in the early 1900s

The European Tour heads to Rome, Italy and the Olgiata Golf Club which was designed by Ken Cotton and Frank Pennink which opened for play in 1962 with another nine holes being added later, making the club a 27-hole complex.

Olgiata Golf Club is around 12-miles from the centre of Rome with the Olgiata area having a very rich history that dates back over 3000 years with the lands becoming battlefields for the great families of Anguillara, Orsini, and the Chigi, fighting not only each other but several popes. Moving forward a few thousand years the lands would become a stud farm, producing world class thoroughbreds like Nearco in the 1930s and Ribot in the 1950s, there is also a horse racing track to the south of this amazing golf and residential complex.
