| The PGA Tour now moves back to the mainland and tees up at the Arnold Palmer Course at La Quinta resort PGA West California. Set at the foot of the majestic Santa Rosa Mountains it offers breathtaking views.
It incorporates five lakes and a canal that comes into play on holes 14 through to 17. Look out for the five finishing holes which are carved along the rugged mountain range.
The Palmer course measures 6,930 yards and has hosted the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic where David Duval shot a course record 59 in his final round to win the tournament by one shot, firing an eagle on the final hole.

My tips to Win:
There are a few players that I will be sticking with this week and first up is Sung-Jae Im 18/1 with SportingBet who I stated last week would win this year on the PGA Tour. Sung-Jae already has a runner-up and a third-place finish on the wraparound season plus three other Top 25 finishes from his seven starts and I expect him to be in the thick of it again this week.
It seems Charles Howell lll 33/1 with SpreadEX enjoys these early season events and I will be sticking with him this week after yet another Top 15 finish at the Sony Open making it thirteen in total, its an amazing record that includes two runner-up finishes. Charles doesnt have that type of record here but he does have a runner-up and four other Top 15s
This will be the first time that Byeong-Hun An 33/1 with UniBet has teed it up in this event and it will also be the first tournament he will be playing in since the Christmas break. Byeong-Han had four Top 15 finishes on the wraparound season with three of those being Top 10s, his best finish being his third place in the Sanderson Farms and I expect him to be in one of the final pairings come Sunday.
Each-way tips:
Matthew Wolff 40/1 with SportingBet has had quite a start to his PGA Tour career notching up a win in only his fourth start after missing the cut the week before. Matthew has had a solid start to his first full season on tour with three Top 20s from his first four starts and after knocking the rust off at the Tournament of Champions I am sure he will be back challenging this week.
This will be the first time that Alex Noren 50/1 with BoyleSport has played in this event but I do feel the courses here will suit his game. Alex started the new wraparound season with two Top 15 finishes before the Christmas break and a solid display at last weeks Sony Open in Hawaii should see him back to competing this week.
Outside tip:
Bud Cauley 80/1 with BetFair has three Top 15 finishes from his last four starts here. It has been a bit of a rollercoaster start to the wraparound season for the Floridian with two Top 15s from his five starts, but he also has two missed cuts one of which came at the weekend in Hawaii. These are good odds for someone who has enjoyed playing in this tournament for the last few years and I feel he may just get back on track this week once he feels those positive vibes as he comes through the gates here this week.
Longer odds:
Try double champion and runner-up here Bill Haas 200/1 with BetFred
As always good luck
