Golf Monthly is the market leading golfing magazine in the UK. It's a lively and welcoming read that is targeted at good golfers who are regular players - and keen to get even better.
With over 100 years of heritage and authority behind it, it represents the real 'voice of golf' with leading columnists, top players and unrivalled coverage of equipment and instruction.
The Greg Norman designed Tiburón Golf Club again plays host to the Franklin Templeton Shootout, which is a three-day event in teams of two playing three different formats. Thursday is a Scramble, Friday is a modified Foursomes and Saturday is a better ball.
The Black course is a beauty and beast set up, with some spectacular views, but if you miss the fairways – which are a mixture of wide, tight, tree lined, water lined or with sand and waste areas forming the boundaries – you certainly pay the price. Water comes into play on 15 holes and including the waste areas, there are around 50 sand traps situated near the landing zones or greenside.
Tee shots that find the fairways and approach shots that find the greens will create plenty of scoring opportunities, as the large putting surfaces are fast but true with only mild sloping. But if you miss the green right or left or go long the roll-offs are extreme with sloping fringes that gather your ball into water or bush.

My tips to Win:
This weeks defending champions are English/Kuchar 13/2 with BoyleSport who will be looking to win in this event together for the forth time. Harris and Matt have teamed up seven times over the Tiburσn Golf Course and with that experience of playing the three different formats for each round scramble, foursomes and fourball I feel they are the team to beat.
The Connors/McDowell 11/1 with UniBet pairing is a new one for this year and it will be the second time that Corey Connors has teed it up in this event, but it will be the seventh time form GMac who has had three runner-up finishes here. Corey had his best year on tour this year and this pairing could finally see Graeme McDowell lift the trophy this week.
Each-way tip:
The Georgia Bulldog pairing of Harman/Swafford 14/1 10Bet to me looks like a solid pairing and Brian Harman won this event back in 2018 with Patton Kizzire. This will be the first time that Hudson Swafford has teed it up in this event, and will probably be his first competitive experience of foursomes golf, but with the odds being so short in this event I think these are the pick of the rest if you are looking for a bit of value.
