FREE GOLF BETTING GUIDE AND TIPS
This is our weekly free betting guide to the European and PGA Tours. This guide will include a review of the course that the tournament is to be held on, as well as providing background information on how we feel certain players will do on that particular week.
Over the last two years we have managed a great record of having a player placed in the Top 5 on both sides of the Atlantic most weeks. We supply three tips to win, two each-way tips that we think can make the Top 5 money places and an outside tip that we feel - if the player performs to his potential could make the Top 5.
We supply links for you to open up a betting account with some of the major bookmakers, no matter what country you live in. These companies offer a range of free bets ranging from £50-200 (in your currency) when you open up an account. The odds on golf betting are very good so we would recommend you always bet each-way.
We would like to emphasise that betting should be for fun and not a way to make a living. We see it as a way of adding excitement to a tournament while you watch and hopefully this guide will help you make an informed choice.
As always good luck and have fun!
Carnoustie or more commonly known by its nickname of Carnasty, should give you an idea of how tough the locals think this course is, Carnoustie was recently rated by Top 100 website viewers as the toughest golf course in Britain & Ireland. Much has been written about Carnoustie over the years. The finishing holes are brutal and many consider that it has one of the greatest back nines in championship golf.
The first record of golf being played at Carnoustie dates back to 1527, a 10-hole course was laid out in 1842, then Fifteen years later in 1857 Old Tom Morris designed an 18-hole layout, which was extended in 1926 by James Braid.

This week sees the PGA Tour hit the Midwest in Western Illinois for the John Deere Classic, which for the last twelve years has been played at the TPC Deere Run Championship course.
The rolling terrain and wooded ravines were the perfect arena for ex PGA touring professional, DA Weibring to design this beautiful track and with the wooded areas of this former Arabian horse farm sitting next to the Rock River, it’s easy to see why Golf Digest ranked this course at No 42 in the US 100 greatest public golf courses.
