Golf Monthly is the market leading golfing magazine in the UK. It's a lively and welcoming read that is targeted at good golfers who are regular players - and keen to get even better.
With over 100 years of heritage and authority behind it, it represents the real 'voice of golf' with leading columnists, top players and unrivalled coverage of equipment and instruction.
The European Tour now moves to Milan in Italy and pitches up at the 27 hole Adriatic Golf Club. The course was founded in 1984 and is located over an area close to the centuries-old pinewood, immediately behind the beach and facing the Adriatic sea.
This is where Marco Croze laid out the first 9-hole course. This loop, which is now called the Red, was joined by Crozes Blue course a year later. These two circuits form the main 18-hole course at this 27-hole facility. Architect Alvise Rossi Fioravanti along with with Baldovino Dassω added the Giallo 9-hole circuit in 2004, these holes are inspired by Scottish links courses
The Rosso and Blu combination extends to just over 6,561 yards, from the back tees, playing to a par of 72, with holes arranged as two returning nines. A pine forest runs along the left side of the closing five holes on the Rosso, with water coming into play at six of the holes on the Blu nine. The tournament course that will be played this week is a composite course and will weigh in at 6,965 yards.
Highlights on the Rosso include the slightly right doglegging, long par four 2nd and the par three 8th where the green nestles in the trees. On the Blu circuit, the par five 4th turns 90 degrees right from the tee with water on the right and out of bounds on the left, and the par three 8th plays to an island green.

My tips to Win:
The man who loves to be hated Patrick Reed 16/1 with UniBet will no doubt want to win to get under the skin of many European golf fans. And like many LIV players teeing it up this week are using loopholes in the rules like being past champions or having a sponsors invites etc. I am sure it is irking some of the regular European Tour players, but until those loopholes are closed or there is an agreement between the PGA and DP World Tours and the PIF you will see this happening at a lot of the bigger events in Europe
I am going to stick with Tom McKibbin 18/1 with UniBet again this week after another Top 10 finish at the weekend making it his fifth in his last nine starts. In fact Tom has been inside the Top 25 ten times in his last twelve starts
Another LIV player teeing it up this week who won recently at the European Open is Laurie Canter 22/1 with UniBet Canter started the KLM Open well and was in contention going into the weekend but fell away, something I dont think will happen this weekend
Each-way tips:
I am sure Matteo Manassero 45/1 with BetVictor would love nothing more than to have his named inscribed on his national Open Championship trophy. In the last few years that possibility looked a long way off, but with a win and four other Top 20 finishes, two of which have been Top 10s including his seventh-place at the weekend, this is the first time for many years that Matteo comes into this week showing a bit of form
A runner-up at the recent Scandinavian Mixed made it Calum Hill 50/1 with UniBet third Top 20 finish in his last three starts and he should arrive here this week in confident mood
Outside tips:
Joe Dean 90/1 with BetFred had his second runner-up finish of the year at the KLM Open at the weekend and had a Top 5 finish two weeks ago at the Soudal Open
And
Rikuya Hoshino 90/1 with BetFred who had a win earlier in the year along with starting the season with two runner-up finishes and comes into this week on the back of a Top 10 finish at the KLM Open, so coming back into form at just the right time and these could turn out to be very good odds for both players
As always good luck
