Golf Monthly is the market leading golfing magazine in the UK. It's a lively and welcoming read that is targeted at good golfers who are regular players - and keen to get even better.
With over 100 years of heritage and authority behind it, it represents the real 'voice of golf' with leading columnists, top players and unrivalled coverage of equipment and instruction.
The European Tour stays in mainland Europe and now moves to Germany for the European Open at the Green Eagle Golf Courses in Hamburg. The 7,582-yard North Course is one of the longest on the European Tour and takes up an impressive 86 hectares of the complex and opened for play in 2008.
The complex was the brainchild of Michael Blesch and Ralf Lühmann back in 1997. Blesch designed the courses and the championship North Course incorporates water on nearly every hole, with some spectacular bunkering and natural amphitheatres. Green Eagle previously played host to the ECCO Tour Championship on the European Challenge Tour in 2010.

My tips to Win:
A past champion of this event when the European Open changed venue to the Green Eagle Golf Course was Jordan Smith 22/1 – with SpreadEx – who has since gone on to have three other Top 15 finishes, two of which have been Top 10s here
With a third-place finish here two years ago and having only been outside the Top 25 twice – one was a withdrawal – in ten starts Richard Mansell 33/1 – with UniBet – should be looking forward to being right in the mix here again come Sunday
Slightly going off the boil in the last couple of weeks after his win at the Porsche Singapore Classic is Jesper Svensson 45/1 – with UniBet – But with the European Tour being back in Europe I expect the Swed to be back challenging this week
Each-way tips:
Five Top 25 finishes from his last six starts and Sam Bairstow 50/1 – with LiveScoreBet – should be arriving here this week in confident mood and I expect him to be in the thick of it again come Sunday
A runner-up finish at the weekend in Belgium, his second Top 5 finish in his last four starts should see Romain Langasque 50/1 – with LiveScoreBet – arrive at the Green Eagle Golf Course, where he had a Top 10 finish last year in buoyant mood.
Outside tips:
Two Top 10 finishes in this event in his last three starts shows Marcel Schneider 100/1 – with BetVictor – enjoys teeing it up at the Green Eagle Golf Course. Marcel comes into this week on the back of three Top 25 finishes from his last five starts and one of those was his third-place finish at the ISPS Handa Championship
