Golf Monthly is the market leading golfing magazine in the UK. It's a lively and welcoming read that is targeted at good golfers who are regular players - and keen to get even better.
With over 100 years of heritage and authority behind it, it represents the real 'voice of golf' with leading columnists, top players and unrivalled coverage of equipment and instruction.
The tour now moves to its Florida swing – although there is a trip to Puerto Rico next week – and pitches up at The PGA National Resort with a new sponsor replacing Honda. The course was originally designed by George and Tom Fazio in 1981 and Jack Nicklaus was commissioned to undertake a re-design in 2001, adding the famed "Bear Trap" group of holes from the 15th-17th.
With its wide fairways and large accepting greens, the course relies on course management and strategy for its defence. There are 107 bunkers and sixteen of the holes have water on them.
The Championship Course has been dedicated to Jack Nicklaus, in honour, they say, "of a man whose commitment to golf has been an inspiration to the game and personifies the high standard of excellence we associate with the "Player of the Century."

My tips to Win:
Even though Rory McIlroy 15/2 – with Bet365 – has a win and a runner-up in this event he doesn’t have the greatest of records with having played here nine times and having only one other Top 15 finish. Having said that there is a reason he would have chosen this non elevated event to play in before The Arnold Palmer Invitational in two weeks time and he will still be the man to beat this week
Another past champion of this event is Russell Henley 25/1 – with Bet365 – who also has five other Top 25 finishes from his nine starts, including two Top 10s one of which was a third-place finish when he last teed it up here three-years ago. Russel comes into this week on the back of two Top 24 finishes from his four starts this year, one of which was a fourth-place finish at the Sony Open in Hawaii
Eric Cole 30/1 – with Bet365 – came into this year after dominating the Fall Series with four Top 5 finishes from five starts and he has five Top 25 finishes from his seven starts this year. Eric played in this event for the first time last year and took the runner-up spot and I am sure he will be looking forward to this week.
Each-way tips:
With two Top 5 finishes in his last two starts here including a runner-up two years ago Shane Lowry 33/1 – with BetFred – will be looking forward to tee it up here again this week. It hasn’t been a great start to the year so far for Shane with one Top 25 from his three starts, which also includes a missed cut. But Lowry seems to have learned how to score on this course in the last two years – he has another Top 25 from his six starts here – and I expect him to be back challenging this week
The third past champion of this event is Sepp Straka 50/1 – with UniBet – who has been having a hit and miss start to the season with two Top 25 finishes from his four starts, with the two other starts being missed cuts! Sepp won here two years ago and defended his title with a Top 5 finish last year
Outside tips:
This well be Rasmus Højgaard 661 – with UniBet – first trip across the Atlantic this year and with five Top 11 finishes from his five starts including a runner-up finish on the European Tour, he should arrive here in confident mood
