After the amazing finish to the Acciona Open de España and congratulations to Angel Hidalgo on his maiden European Tour win, the tour now moves to Scotland, I have a feeling the weather is going to be slightly different to Madrid!
The home of golf will see some of the best players in the world turn up to compete in this weeks Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. The players will not only be competing on the hallowed turf that is St Andrews, but also Carnoustie and Kingsbarns, three of the best courses in Fife. All three are in Golf Monthly’s Top 100 courses of Great Britain and Ireland, only Kingbarns is just outside the Top 10 at number eleven.
Coming in on the back of two runner-up finishes and looking to get back to winning ways will be Rory McIlroy 13/2 – with Bet365 – Rory has three runner-up finishes in this event
