Palmeraie Golf Club is next up and this Robert Trent Jones Snr-designed track is in need of some TLC. I am not going to criticise because it has some wonderful holes and I thoroughly relish the back nine where water comes into play on several of them.
We only get to play the old 18 holes and I must say as we pass the new nine holes they look in great condition. Hopefully the work going on there will mean a revamp for the old 18. If you do get to play this track I would recommend you play the back nine of the old course with the new nine holes. Again, like most of the courses in Marrakech, there are some stunning views of the Atlas Mountains.
