Hotel and Spa Review, Hotel Club Aura, Ibiza, Spain, views from the balcony

After a few hours travelling we have finally arrived at our hotel Club Aura in Port des Torrent, Ibiza. As we are walking towards the entrance I have a great feeling already that we’ve chosen the right hotel for our stay, walking into reception just confirms my initial thoughts, it’s very spacious and modern and even though it was nearly midnight we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and another member of staff who helped us with our luggage.

Hotel Club Aura offers a variety of rooms to choose from whether you’re travelling with family, a partner or friends. We chose to stay in the family suite which was beautifully decorated with cream walls, tiled flooring, wood furnishing - being the main themes - the room was very spacious and immaculately clean. After a good nights sleep I feel refreshed ready for the day, I open up the double doors leading out to our balcony and take a few moments to sit and appreciate the surrounding views that are absolutely breath taking.

Usually I’m very hesitant to eat at hotel buffets due to being a very fussy eater – yes I’m one of those – but on this occasion the chef was amazing and I was not left starving! There was a variety of food laid out for guests to chose from with lots of fresh salads, fish, chicken, steak and finger food to name a few. There are also themed cuisine nights that include Spanish and Italian and even an English roast on Sunday. Whether dining inside or out under the stars on warm Spanish evenings, a staff member was always be close by ensuring our drinks were always topped up, without being intrusive. I highly recommend you try the a la carte Japanese restaurant Teppanyaki during your stay, describing the food as exquisite just doesn’t seem to do it justice.

As you would imagine with this being a family hotel there are plenty of facilities for everyone to enjoy including 2 swimming pools for the children to splash around in, and for me to lie by and soak up the rays and take advantage of the Poolside freelance masseuse and manicurist. There is a waterpark and an inside swimming pool for when the weather decides to not come out and play!

For those who like to keep in shape during their stay there is a gym and sauna and to end your perfect day children’s and adult entertainment. The Hotel Club Aura is only a cab ride away from all the clubs and bars and me and my sister are finding this to be the perfect place to stay, I know you will enjoy staying here as much as we have.
