A dynamic diamond traction sole plate with eight replaceable Softspikes®* helps give you maximum grip, which is needed during the winter months on wet grass and in some cases replacement mats and astroturf surfaces.

Conclusion:

I tested the Pro 4 Legacy shoes over four different course in Cornwall and Surrey from links type grasses at St Enodoc to Park land courses at The Point at Polzeath and Farleigh Golf Club in Surrey in both wet and dry condition and in the case of St Enodoc Church course in 45mph winds, which really put the dynamic diamond traction sole plate and the softspikes to the test.

If you are looking for a winter golf shoe, that is 100% waterproof, that you can wear straight from the box and that keeps your feet comfortable for 18 holes then I would make sure you take a look at the Skechers Pro 4 Legacy shoe. The added bonus is they look great with some wonderful colour combinations – I tested the black/red option – and with a quick wipe down with some soap and water the synthetic uppers can look like new again.
