Duca del Cosma use a recyclable microfibre upper in their new waterproof Bologna golf boot, which comes in a navy/yellow or black/orange combinations and features their QLS system (Quick Lacing System) that helps provide a custom-like fitting with balanced pressure points helping performance and stability.
The lightweight Airplay Xll eco rubber outsole works with the oversized midsole giving the golf boot an unmistakable look. These work with the ARNEFLEX® insert sole, which is covered with the OnSteam® recyclable microfibre for comfort and breathability and recycled cork to give extra heel support. And the OnStream® technology is also used with the waterproof sock system.
Conclusion:
My first thoughts when I pulled these beauties out of the box, was please perform as good as you look! Whether you choose the blue/yellow or black/orange combination the design is stunning.
But it is when you slip your foot into the boot and start to tighten the QLS lacing system that you realise how well made these boots are and that snug fit as the lacing starts to tighten. I also really liked the arch support for my feet, but the real test is stepping out on to the golf course mid November after several days of non stop British rain.
Three rounds of golf and some practice sessions on the range and I can state that the Bologna golf boot is certainly worth investing in this winter. Not only are they waterproof and keep your feet warm. My one major concern was always going to be are the soles going to be stable and not slip on went muddy grass as I alway prefer soft spikes in winter. And over the three rounds I have not slipped once and as you all know we have had some horrible wet conditions these last couple of months.
If you want your feet to be dry, warm and supported this winter then get the Duca del Cosma Bologna golf boot on your Christmas present shopping list.
