The rescheduled European Tour will be staying in Austria this week for the Euram Bank Open, which has been promoted onto the full European Tour from the Challenge Tour.
Adamstal is a stunning golf course and deserves its title as Austria's number one course. Former Austrian rally driver Franz Wittmann purchased the then 9-hole course back in 1995 and commissioned Canadian Jeff Howes to extend the course to 18 holes.
Adamstal layout follows the natural lie of the land through a wooded undulation valley and it seems every hole offers up majestic views, none more so than the 5th with it panoramic views of the Unterberg summit where rock formations are a prominent feature, these were discovered during construction of the fairway and incorporated into the design
Other notable holes are the short par four 10th, which is the highest point on the course at some 4,400-ft and as you can imagine at this altitude the ball flies a lot further which will see players hitting very short irons into holes so look out for plenty of birdie opportunities.
The 11th is also played from an elevated tee, and offers more amazing views.

My tips to Win:
I am going to stick with Joost Luiten 6/1 UniBet this week and although he may not have played this track before looking at some of the scoring on the Challenge Tour at this event and knowing how Joost likes to attack flags this could be the perfect set up for his game.
Rikard Karlberg 20/1 with SportingBet had a Top 5 finish in this event last year finishing with two rounds of 66 and I am sure he will take plenty of positives into this week from that finish. Rikard didnt finish the Austrian Open well with rounds of 72 and 74, but I am sure now he has been able to knock the rust off his game he will be looking forward to being back playing the Adamstal course.
Another player that I will be tipping again this week is Lorenzo Gagli 20/1 with WilliamHill who added another Top 25 finish to his stats at the Austrian Open last week making it three Top 25 finishes from his last three starts. Lorenzo played some steady golf but didnt have that one low round that would have seen him challenging, but I think that may change this week.
Francesco Laporta 33/1 with BetVictor finished the Austrian Open with a final round 69 so I am sure he will take some positives from that coming back to a course where he shot two rounds of 65 two years ago to just miss out on a Top 10 finish. Francesco had two wins on the Challenge Tour last year and I am sure he will be looking forward to this week.
A Top 20 finish at the Austrian Open at the weekend should see Bernd Ritthammer 40/1 with WilliamHill in buoyant mood coming into the week especially after his second round 65, I am sure he was disappointed with his two rounds of 74, but it was only the first tournament back. Bernd had a Top 10 in this event two years ago finishing with rounds of 66 and 65 respectively and I feel he will be in the thick of it come Sunday.
Matt Ford 100/1 with BetVictor missed the cut when he played in this tournaments inaugural event two years ago, but came back last year to claim a Top 5 finish firing all four rounds in the 60s. Matt placed in the Top 20 at the Austrian Open at the weekend and I am sure that will only give him a confidence boost coming back to a course that he played so well on last year.

As always good luck
