| The FedEx Cup Play-offs now move to Illinois and the Olympia Fields CC with the field being cut down to the Top 70 players trying to make the final Top 30 cut for the Tour Final.
Olympia Fields Country Club is a private golf club located in a suburb of Chicago and has two courses the North and South, with the North Course – which was originally known as No 4 course as there were four courses here – being considered one of the top three courses in the Chicago area, and is ranked in the top 50 courses in the United States.
The club was founded in 1915 the BMW Championship will be playing over the North Course which was designed by two-time Open champion Willie Park, Jnr, and was lengthened prior to hosting the U.S. Open in 2003. The course features some significant elevation changes and incorporates a meandering creek and hundreds of native oak trees.
To prepare for the 1961 PGA Championship the club didn’t hire a golf architect, instead opting for superintendent Warren Bidwell to relocate 32 greenside and 13 fairway bunkers and added new tees to lengthen the course. In 2005, the club began a $9.5 million renovation project to improve the course and its practice facilities

My tips to Win:
Webb Simpson 20/1 – WilliamHill – has withdrawn from the event so we are replacing him with Jon Rahm 14/1 – with Ladbrokes
As I stated last week I feel Daniel Berger 22/1 – with WilliamHill – will be the surprise package of these FedEx Cup play-offs and his third-place finish last week has now moved him up to fourth place in the rankings and I expect him to be in the thick of the battle again come Sunday.
Each way tips:
I think last weeks missed cut by Billy Horschel 60/1 – with oddschecker – was a reaction from not getting the Wyndham Championship over the line and the way he played those last three holes to basically lose the tournament. In a way I think the missed cut may help Billy refocus this week and he always seems to produce this time of year and I expect him to be back challenging again come Sunday.
Outside tip:
My outside tip this week is Alex Noren 80/1 – with SportingBet – who has three Top 10 finishes from his last four starts and he also had a Top 25 at a very tough PGA Championship. When Alex gets the bit between his teeth he is a tough competitor and has ten wins on the European Tour and two wins on the Asian Tour and although he lost in a play-off on the PGA Tour if he gets into a position to win he has what it takes to get it over the line.
Longer odds:
Try Kevin Streelman 200/1 – with Ladbrokes
As always good luck
