| The tour heads off to Florida this week and the Champions course at The PGA National Resort. The course was originally designed by George and Tom Fazio in 1981 and Jack Nicklaus was commissioned to undertake a re-design in 2001, adding the famed "Bear Trap" group of holes from the 15th-17th.
With its wide fairways and large accepting greens, the course relies on course management and strategy for its defence. There are 107 bunkers and sixteen of the holes have water on them.
The Championship Course has been dedicated to Jack Nicklaus, in honour, they say, "of a man whose commitment to golf has been an inspiration to the game and personifies the high standard of excellence we associate with the "Player of the Century."

My tips to Win:
I did tip Justin Thomas 11/2 with MarathonBet last week and while he got off to a great start at the WGC Mexico Championship he did let it slip in the second and third rounds, but a -9 under par final round of 62 see him storm up the leaderboard twenty-eight places and into the Top 10. Justin has five Top 10 finishes from his seven starts and four of those are Top 5 places. Thomas is the defending champion here this week and will be going all out to not only get a win under his belt but put up a good defence of his title.
Rickie Fowler 12/1 Ladbrokes won this event two years ago and has two other Top 10s, although Rickie does seem to have a love/hate affair with this course having missed his first two cuts here and then missed the cut again when defending his title last year. Fowler has already won this season and has two other Top 5s from his five starts and although he didnt really challenge in Mexico I expect him to be back in the thick of it come Sunday.
Another past champion of this event is Adam Scott 16/1 with SportingBet who I have tipped already this season, Adam seems to have had a new lease of life with the change of rule and being allowed to putt with the flag in. From his six starts on the PGA Tours wraparound season he has only been outside the Top 20 twice with three Top 10 finishes including his runner-up at the Farmers Insurance Open.
Each-way tips:
A runner-up in this event last year should see Luke List 40/1 with SportingBet looking forward to teeing it up at the PGA National this week. Luke has a couple of Top 5 finishes on the wraparound season and managed a Top 15 at the Genesis Open after missing the cut the week before in Phoenix, which I feel showed good mental strength.
Russell Knox 59/1 with 10Bet has back-to-back Top 5 finishes in this event one a runner-up, but unfortunately, he has had back-to-back missed cuts the last two years, so which Russell Knox will turn up this year? Russell has had a solid start to the season but only has one Top 10 to his name from his eight starts, but I feel he will start challenging again and this is a course he has played very well on.
Outside tip:
An eleventh-place finish here last year in his first outing in this tournament should see Dylan Frittelli 100/1 with Ladbrokes looking forward to competing this week. Last year was Dylans first season playing a full schedule on the PGA Tour. Frittelli has won twice on the European Tour in each of the last two years and has also won on the Sunshine Tour, so he knows how to get the job done when in a position to win.
Longer odds:
Try Cameron Davis 250/1 with SportingBet
As always good luck
