The “European” Tours world domination continues this week as it moves to China for the BMW Masters tournament in Shanghai, where the Lake Malaren Golf Club plays host to some of the Tours top players.

This Jack Nicklaus designed course uses all the natural beauty of the area, but while aesthetically pleasing to the eye the course is designed to test the professional golfers armoury of shot making skills.

Nicklaus pulls together all the natural beauty of the land he was given and uses them to great effect in his design, which includes the indigenous trees and plants as well as streams and lakes and of course the natural rolling topography where he uses the change in elevations to great effect.

My tips to Win:

Louis Oosthuizen 16/1 has had a week off after his forth place finish at the Nanshan China Masters so he should be acclimatised and with two wins on the European Tour so far this year, plus another seven Top 10 finishes on both the European and PGA Tours, I think he will be in the thick of it come Sunday afternoon.

It’s a bit hard to ignore Ian Poulter 28/1 this week, it’s going to be interesting to see how he plays as this is his first tournament since his heroics at the Ryder Cup. At least his mind should be a lot calmer and I’m sure it wont be long before the press will be pushing for his views and feelings, but I am sure this Arsenal supporter will be in his element this week so look for him to do well.

Branden Grace 28/1 is having a great season, he sits at the top of the Sunshine Tours order of merit and third place on the European Tour’s race to Dubai with five wins across both tours, not bad for someone who came through last years qualifying in eleventh place.

My each-way tips:

Richie Ramsay 66/1 suffered a bit at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, after three weeks finishing in the Top 10 and winning the Omega European Open along the way. I am sure the couple of weeks rest have got him back in the right frame of mind and he should come into this week in confident mood.

Three Top 10 finishes in his last four tournaments sees Danny Willett 50/1 coming into this weeks event full of confidence, add his win at the BMW International Open and the lad from Sheffield has been showing his steel this season and I can see him keeping that run going this week.

My outside tip:

This weeks outside bet is US Open Champion Michael Campbell 100/1 it’s been good to see Michael coming back into form and whilst on a recent press trip to Ireland a couple of fellow journalists got to play with the affable Kiwi in the Irish Open’s pro-am and said he was striking the ball superbly. Apart from his third place finish at the Portugal Master, he’s had two other Top 20 finish in his previous six starts which also shows some consistency coming back into his game as well.

As always good luck
