My tips to win:

Jordan Smith 20/1 – with Bet365 – will be looking to put his missed cut at the Volvo China Open behind him that spoiled a run of finishing inside the Top 20 in his three previous starts. It was Jordan’s first missed cut of the year which started with two Top 6 finishes from his first three starts and with a weakened field this week it's a great chance to get his first full European Tour win after winning twice on the Challenge Tour last year.

Will Matteo Mannassero 33/1 – with SportingBet – be able to perform in front of a home crowd? We will obviously know come Sunday afternoon. It has been a strange few years for the Italian after bursting onto the scene and this year has been know different, just when you think he will go on and challenge he slides down the leaderboard and out of contention. There will be added pressure this week, hopefully that will spur him on rather than sink him.

My each-way tips:

I tipped Julien Quesne 45/1 – with SportingBet – a few weeks ago at the Volvo China Open and he did finish inside the Top 20 but didn’t really challenge. It was the Frenchman’s second consecutive tournament that he made the cut having missed four on the bounce. That was the Frenchman’s best finish of the year and I think that may just be the key to getting his season back on track.

Another local player is Renato Paratore 45/1 – with Bet365 – who comes into this week with two Top 20 finishes from his last three starts – one of which was an eighth place finish at the Trophée Hassan ll. And although he has never really performed well on home soil his recent form may just see him in the thick of it come Sunday.

Oliver Fisher 60/1 – with Bet365 – is another player that comes into this week in good form after a Top 6 finish at last weeks Open de Portugal and although he missed the cut the previous week he did have another Top 20 before that. It has been an inconsistent season for the Englishman but he is a previous winner on the European Tour.

Outside tips

There are a couple of outside bets this week, Haydn Porteous 70/1 -– with Bet365. Its not been the year everyone thought it would be for the South African after getting his first European Tour win last year, but he could be a surprise this week. Nathan Holman 400/1 – – with SkyBet – is having a torrid season but last years Australian PGA Champion is obviously a good player and just needs things to click back in place and with a weakened field on a course open to the elements he could be worth a 50p each-way punt.

As always good luck
